Did not feel at home from the time we walked in the door. The sectional was old/worn and pillows dingy and stained. No kitchen table/chairs to eat at/play games. First bedroom-had to shift bed not enough room to get beside it/no bedside table/mattress lumpy /uncomfortable. Problems with toilet not flushing well. In the refrigerator was old food, including cracked eggs and sausage. Kitchen faucet-difficult to shut off . The back bedroom had horribly stained, dirty carpet-beyond cleaning /trash under the bed/mattress worn out. No 2nd bedside table/bed positioned too close to wall.The bathroom had cracked floor tiles, hair in sink, toilet and shower areas. The tub spout was loose. The side porch was unsafe with broken concrete. Also, the Alexa system needs to go. All the lights came on at 1am and woke all of us up. It did not work correctly most of the time. Would not recommend without renovations/and better placement of furniture/ new mattresses and table/ chairs addition

This was our first experience with a smart home on this level. It was fantastic! They also provided plenty of kitchen items as we cook a lot when we travel, so that was extremely helpful. Living room furniture and the beds were very comfortable. Host was attentive and responded quickly. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Great bnb for a large group, we were each able to have our private rooms and the living room area felt spacious. I chose Thomas's listing primarily because of the location (a short drive to downtown), but the smart features were unexpectedly nice and easy to use. we felt right at home.

This place met all our needs and provided plenty of space for all six of us plus the 4 month old we brought. If you’re planning on hanging around Springfield, this place is a great option for bigger families. With tons of living room seating, storage options for the luggage you have, and plenty of kitchen space for cooking.

House was everything we needed. comfortable beds, great communication with owner. We got to town a little early and the house wasn't ready until after the 4:00 check in. We ended up waiting about 15 minutes so the cleaners could finish. Other than that, all was good.

We loved Thomas’s place! Plenty of room, very comfortable, lots of little helpful signs throughout to learn about the “smart” capabilities. There were 6 of us so plenty of room for everyone. Seating was comfortable and the open floor plan allowed for chatting while making dinner with those in the living room. The “smart” house was a lot of fun and our 10yr old had a blast learning all of the names of the lamps and lights to have Alexa turn them on or also to play music. Be aware that the jokesters of the group may enjoy having Alexa turn the lights off when you’re in the restroom 🤣

Overall satisfied. The rooms were spacious and worked well for our family. The heated bidet toilet seats were very nice, so nice I decided to buy one for my own home. This home is located in an older part of Springfield that to some the area may look or seem a bit run down but it was close to all the places we came to visit and at no point did it feel unsafe by any means. The beds were comfy and the pillows were hotel grade.

The interior of the house is very nice, well furnished, great kitchen, plenty of space. We were 3 couples and each had a nice room. We enjoyed our stay. "Smart"-ness of appliances etc was a little challenging at times, but an interesting upgrade. The neighborhood had a few houses that were not well kept, but Thomas' was pleasant and well kept inside and out. Good value.

The neighborhood is older and some of the other houses are definitely outdated but there is construction going on at several of the other houses with nice updates being done! The space was immaculately clean, which made settling in a breeze. The kitchen was well-equipped and a pleasure to use—perfect for preparing meals and enjoying time together. As a group of movie buffs, we especially appreciated the amazing TV setup. It made our evenings so much fun, as we could gather comfortably to watch our favorite films in style. The place has great tech features and easy entry. Some noisy neighboring dogs- not something Thomas can control- but was a little bothersome when trying to sleep in the back bedroom. The place has good space, seating for the 6 of us, and easy parking.

The house couldn’t have been more perfect! I didn’t think to see if it was handicap accessible and it was not! My sister couldn’t make it up the stairs and fell. We had to call 911 for help and they were there within a few minutes and got her picked up and in the house. I will check next time to be sure that there is a ramp not steps and a walk in shower, not all bathtubs.

Choosing this “smart house” was a smart choice! Not only is it well appointed and comfortable, it is so much fun to turn lights on and off using voice commands. Even if you have been around the sun 75 times like me and are not very techy, no worries - the owners have left very clear instructions in multiple places. I highly recommend this property!

Overall the stay was decent. The neighborhood is pretty old and rundown. Neighbors were outside yelling at each other and one of the neighbors dog’s was barking into the late night. At no point did we feel unsafe. I made a few suggestions to the owner to help with future stays and he seemed very receptive.

We stayed at Thomas' place overnight on our way home. It’s a really nice stay, clean, comfortable, spacious, & well equipped with the things you might need! The pictures looked just like the actual spaces. The smart home was a fun feature that all the kids enjoyed & having the rooms Alexa’s grouped into different superhero’s was a fun touch. Close to downtown and food options which made the location convenient. The communication for check in & checkout were very clear. Perfect space for what we needed.

We had a group of adults stay here as we were in town for a tournament. The place was perfect for us! Plenty of room for us to all hang out together, but also ample room for us to feel like we each had our own space. The high ceilings and open-concept of the living room and kitchen were perfect, the bathrooms were very clean, and the beds were comfy. We did some light cooking and there were plenty of kitchen basics for us to use. We all wish we had more time to stay and enjoy the spacious backyard. Our hosts were very responsive and communicative throughout our stay. This was my first airbnb experience, and I think these guys have set the bar! I would definitely stay here again with family or friends when I'm back in Springfield.

The house inside is exactly how it is listed in the description. The neighborhood is average. The neighboring houses are rundown. The house itself is nice and comfortable and no issues, it met our expectations. About a mile and a half away is historic commercial street and a nice little downtown with the farmers market, coffee shops and good restaurants which makes this house walkable in my opinion and I love that aspect.

My dad’s family & his siblings came down to Springfield, MO for my little sister’s graduation & They loved this AirBnB they stayed at! it felt like home. Everything was comfortable & clean. The extra beds in the closet were perfect for my little cousins. We felt safe because of the cameras & everything went smoothly that whole weekend because everything we needed to know was provided by a little note by the item or through a message from the hosts. The hosts are the best I’ve ever experienced. The quickest replies, clear instructions and very kind. It was definitely worth the price. & The place gave us a wonderful weekend we’ll never forget💕.

I wish I would have investigated the neighborhood better. The area is rundown. The house itself is definitely accommodating and a very techie. The majority of the house was spotless except for the dust bunnies that escaped when you opened and shut the couch kick-out and a few hairs present in the bathroom. The host was very helpful and quickly responded, so that’s a major plus.
This home is very accurate to the pictures and very well kept. You can tell that the owners take pride in their business. The amenities in the home are great, the home is stocked with everything you may need and Alexa wired in the home is an added bonus. There was an issue with the electricity in the city when I contacted the host they responded promptly!!! We really enjoyed our stay at this property.

Thomas’ place was perfect for us. We were in town for our kids wrestling tournament & the air bnb was located close to the Wilson Logistics Arena, so that was a plus. Everything was very clean and as described. You can tell the hosts take a lot of pride in their place. There were instructions and labels where appropriate all throughout the house. We only stayed one night, from 7pm til the next morning. However, this place is great for a short term or long term stay as they have all the amenities to feel right at home.

This is the first time I’ve stayed in a smart house and this one had it all! Thomas was a great host and communicated well. I will definitely look to return next time I’m in Springfield. So much nicer to have a whole house compared to a hotel room. It’s centrally located in town. Can be anywhere within 10-15 mins in any direction. 5 mins away from shopping, restaurants, gas station, I-44.

Thomas was very responsive to anything we were in need. House was in a quiet neighborhood, and easy to get to and from. The only drawback I experienced was the house is a Smart-home and it made me realize I’m not that smart LOL. But I survived there were 8 of us and everyone felt the accommodations and the amenities were great for our weekend stay. If needed we will stay there again when back in Springfield, MO.
This was a great place for our family get together. Plenty of room and Great location! The only hold back was that the queen beds are too high for someone who is elderly, they do have steps to help with that but still hard on an older person. The twin beds are just cots and they are too low for an older person to get up and down. We made do, my elderly Aunts sleep on the large sectional. We had to call 911 (everything is ok, thought my 90 yr old father was having a heart issue). When the owner heard the ambulance was there he called to check on us and asked if there was anything he could do. We appreciated that very much.

The smart home stuff was really cool. There's much more to it than you can see in the listing. It was really fun to try out all the Alexa stuff they had automated in the home. Short walk to a nice park. Kitchen full of cooking supplies. Great place for my family to get together for thanksgiving. Will probably book again in the future! Responsive and professional host.

We had an issue with our door code working and Thomas was quick to respond and got us taken care of quickly. Location was a bit worrisome to some in our group but it ended up working out great for us and we felt safe at the house. Home was very clean and we enjoyed all the smart features of the house.

The place was a nice stay with high ceilings for tall people. The Alexa was great touch with security cameras that can be viewed for security. The downsides were a gravel driveway with rubber sticking up that could cause a tripping hazard and a noisier than expected neighborhood. However, the stay was nice and cozy once inside. Overall we had a very nice time.

This is one of the best AirBNBs I’ve stayed in. All the tech inside the house is up to date. The bidet was certainly the talk of the town that weekend. This house will comfortably sleep 6 people with 3 private rooms and 3 very nice beds. If you are bringing more than 6, they will sleep on the couch which was very comfortable so it’s doable. They had a fold out bed somewhere but probably not as comfy as the couch would’ve been. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to get back to the college area for a fun weekend!

This was a perfect spot for our family to stay for our visit to Springfield. We have a junior at MSU and I’m sad we didn’t discover this place sooner. We will definitely try to book it every time we come for a visit in the future. It’s close to everything we needed in a quiet location. Lots of amenities too!

We came to Springfield for a tennis tournament. The location and the house were great! It was very comfortable and we enjoyed using Alexa! The neighborhood was a little sketchy, but we didn’t have any problems.
AMAZING!! The host was very reliable and kind. The house was beautiful and well put together. Had an issue with the smart lock on the door but the host was right on it and got us in safely.
We were only an overnight stay, but we will definitely book again should we visit the area again. The home was absolutely lovely and had every possible amenity. Things we wouldn't have even thought of as a convenience. (TV trays, so many spices, games, and a spa toilet!) The neighborhood is older, but the house is well maintained and we felt very safe. It was a quiet street. Our host was very quick to notify us that an item had been left behind and worked with us to make arrangements for the return. So much wonderful to say about it, and an amazing price.
We were in town for our son’s wedding. It was so great that everyone had a bed and a place to stay. It made the times between events relaxing and smooth. All the smart amenities were fun. We had such a great time!

We were blown away with the amenities and attention to detail in this house. Anything we could have needed was available plus things I never knew we needed. It was clean and everything was super comfortable. I worked while there and the internet speed was fantastic. The check in and checkout processes were a breeze. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again if in the area.
First, I almost never leave descriptive reviews. However, I was impressed with this place. My thoughts 1.) very easy check in process. Owner was very responsible. 2.) kitchen and appliances were all new and very nice. It was great for cooking breakfast and baking cookies. 3.) bathrooms were very clean and the heated seat in the guest bathroom was a surprising experience. The bidets on the toilets also provide for a unique experience (as I have never used one before) 4.) Shower pressure is GREAT!! However there is little ventilation in the bathrooms. 5.) the living room and big couch is rather comfortable and worked great work for sitting with the family and watching a movie. 6.) the Amazon Alexa smart home features were fun and worked great. Know that the TV in the main living room is not connected to the Alexa smart home system. Still have to use a remote for that. Overall a great experience and I would recommend this place for anyone who is vacationing in Springfield, MO.
My family of five enjoyed the Hovey house tremendously! The kids loved Alexa and kept us entertained! There was plenty of room to spread out, and the layout of the house is great with lots of thoughtful touches. There's a full-sized fridge, ice maker, and plenty of kitchenware and cookware. The showers had plenty of hot water, excellent water pressure, and shower heads tall enough for our 6'4" family members. The beds were comfortable, and we all slept well. Easy parking and a nice neighborly / active community.

This is a great space and very comfortable. After a long day of driving it was cool (summertime) and inviting. We were able to relax with an awesome TV and surround sound. Great for a stay
The house was nice, really enjoyed the big sectional and big tv. The best part of the whole experience was the host. I made a mistake on my dates and I had showed up with my family at the exact same time some other family arrived and claimed they had the property reserved for that day. I checked my confirmation and just realized I got my dates wrong when I booked the house. The host, Thomas Quinn was very understanding and made it work out. Me and my family stayed at this house and he put the other family in another listing he had, luckily the other family was as understanding as as the host so everything ended up working out. He could have told me sorry for my luck but he didn’t, he made sure that everyone was taken care of.
After a mix up with another family booking wrong dates, Thomas worked with both parties to make sure the family was taken care of.
Very nice clean house, great amenities! I love the instructions list in each room for the smart appliances, super helpful! The doors being programed specifically to us was great and made it that much easier to remember and get in! Would definitely stay here again if we need that much space!

Stayed only two nights at this property, but everything was just as described on the listing. The home was very clean and it was an interesting experience using Alexa. The beds were comfortable, and the place even had a few board games that my kids enjoyed during our stay. The office bedroom was a nice addition, and very useful since i had to work during our stay. The hosts were polite and responsive and we had an overall great time. I would stay here again

Smart Home, yes. However, it seems more detail went into getting as many cool tech gadgets as you can in one place and not so much the house. A lot of the furniture is used and worn. Neighborhood is probably a decent neighborhood, I wouldn’t know. But definitely felt like locking the doors at night. The backyard is destroyed with branches and debris. The back deck is a huge safety hazard if you bring kids or have intoxicated friends. Concrete had chunks missing and the deck itself had holes in it. My major concern is the front door and locking mechanism. It makes a locking noise through out the day and night and it terrified all of us at 11:12pm when we thought someone was trying to enter.

Arriving, the house was exactly as the listing portrays. It is very large, airy and roomy. The place was spotless. Nicely stocked kitchen, bathrooms, etc. Large flatscreen televisions in every bedroom and living room. Alexa worked great with the lights. It is an older neighborhood but very quite and safe. We would definitely recommend it to our friends and family and happily repeat our stay.
House was very clean and beds were comfortable! The smart home gave us some problems but it was really fun to play with. We had a group of 8 stay here and with pull out beds there was plenty of space to sleep. We all enjoyed playing with Alexa. Neighborhood isn't the best but we had no problems at all. The house is very secure and there are cameras on the exterior you can access. It is a nice locations to get to things in town.

We had an enjoyable stay at the three bedroom “Alexified” smart home. This home is full of smart gadgets, and we enjoyed every bit of the time here. I think the kids had a lot of fun with Alexa making goofy requests. They also enjoyed watching the Shark robotic vacuum cleaner keep the floor tidy. We arrived to a very clean home and felt welcome from the moment we showed up. It felt like home away from home. Thomas was very accommodating and pleasant. We had a comfortable stay. The beds were comfortable and we had fun talking with Alexa while we stayed at the house. We had never used a bidet so that was an interesting experience. :) Thomas was very good at responding to me promptly which we really appreciated. Overall we had a nice stay and really enjoyed and appreciated the amenities that Thomas offered.
Smart house is very accurate! We are not from the area and we’re visiting family on our way home from vacation. Almost the entire home is usable through Alexa, there are instructions for working nearly every device if you are not familiar with Alexa, and the cameras add an extra level of comfort! We booked last minute as we wanted an extra day with family, and still check in and communication was a breeze! Highly recommend!

We stayed at this 3 bedroom/2 bath house while visiting family in Springfield. The house was very clean and has great space! The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. This smart house is a great place to stay. Just tell Alexa to turn off lights, play music, etc. The instructions on what to say to operate Alexa is easy to follow. We booked this at the last minute and the communication and check-in was great! We will definitely stay here again!
