Thomas and Carol are great hosts! The apartment was fantastic- clean and well-decorated with loads of amenities. Really enjoyed our stay. The area is private and peaceful, but still close to local restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend!

The house is very nice. There was more space than I was expecting. My kids had lots of space to spread out. You do hear the people upstairs walking around every once in awhile but it wasn't bad.

Very spacious and comfortable for the most part. Beautiful fully functioning walk out basement had all the boxes checked for a nice stay. Arrived 45 minutes early but reached out to host and responded quickly to walk us through an early arrival and entry with no issues after that. Appreciated the step stools for the tall beds, large TVs and viewing options. Personally, we weren't fond of the bidet toilet ourselves but knew of it ahead of time. Also, shower was snug for a bigger person but worked. Only noise we heard from family above were the footsteps as noted and didn't really bother us. We are now a little spoiled at having Alexa turn on and off the lights and adjusting the thermostat. Driveway entrance is narrow with some road areas to avoid so just be watchful there. GPS got us right there with no issues. Plenty of room to stretch out and relax. Beautiful Korean decor. Don't forget to leave your shoes at the door.

We enjoyed our stay in Thomas's place! This is the second property of his we have stayed in. Our son is located in Republic, so this time we wanted to be closer to where he is, rather than stay in the city of Springfield. We chose this property based mostly on the location, but also because we know that Thomas is a great host. This place is out there! Like it almost felt odd driving out to this little cluster of homes (past the farms and dogs chasing us on the road) to find the apartment. The directions they provided were very helpful and took us to where we needed to be, even though GPS was a little wonky. We read previous reviews about the noise from tenants upstairs. We heard them walking around at night and in the mornings before we left, but never felt like it was excessive. Just a typical squeaky floor. The yard is a bit cluttered and not as pristine as Thomas's other property, but it didn't take away from our stay. The nights were beautiful and quiet in the country. Recommend!

There’s no washer and dryer on site. Beds were described as super comfortable, but it’s memory foam and we didn’t like it. Other than those 2 things, it was an awesome place, super quiet except for upstairs neighbors in the mornings and evenings.

Host was very nice and the place met our needs. Communication was good and location was convenient. This place would easily be four stars if not for all the noise from upstairs, both early morning and late evening. It also had a pretty strong musty odor when we arrived, but it went away after a day or two. Hopefully it will get worked out as this could be a great spot when visiting Springfield.

The property was the perfect blend of feeling like you are out in the country, yet being close to things we wanted to go see.The host was incredible and even accommodated us when we arrived a bit earlier than anticipated. We did have an issue with the app that gives us the door code so I highly recommend taking a screen cap before you get there. The King bed was firm and the other beds were plush and comfy. But between the spare mattress under the King bed and the very large comfy curve around couch. There were plenty of sleeping spots for our party of 6, ages 14 and up. There was a good selection of games in the closet. The kitchen was well stocked. We had a wonderful time and will definitely stay again the next time we're in the area!!!

Absolutely lovely stay! Very quiet and private. While there we saw a deer and horses. Gave me the small farm town feel I grew up in as a little girl. Everything was clean and well organized. I would stay there over and over again if we lived closer. (CA) My son fell in love with the area and now wants to look at colleges near, so we may be staying there again in the near future! Time will tell.
This is the second time we have stayed here. This was perfect for our family. Easy to access and had everything we needed. The only thing I would say that was not as nice as before was the maintenance of the yard, but we didn't spend time outside there so no big deal. Thomas was kind enough to bring us extra towels as we were staying for the week and just needed some clean towels. Great host!

This is a very well designed and tastefully appointed walk-in daylight basement apartment where the hosts have thought of, and provided for, virtually everthing you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Location is rural, quiet, and off the beaten path but easily accessible within 15 minutes of Springfield airport. Recommend first arrival be during daylight hours. Our six night stay was most enjoyable and we highly recommend.

This was a great airbnb in a rural location. Everything was as described and we had plenty of supplies. The Alexa made controlling the lights easy and it was nice to have phone chargers provided. The host was great about communication and the beds are the most comfortable I have ever had in an airbnb!

Thomas your place is very lovely, we enjoyed the hockey table and home theater system. The beds are extremely comfortable and all the decorations are cool. The electronics set up is really advance pretty much control everything from the couch. Wish I could stay longer!

Check in was great, air hockey was a hit for our boys. Heated toilet seat was awesome! We wanted to love this place but, the noise from upstairs all hours through the night were inconvenient. Banging, stomping & the squeaking noise from people walking? It honestly sounded like people were rearranging the upstairs for the 3 nights we stayed. We smelled cigarette smoke a couple times. When we pulled up, it was just not very welcoming.. junkie yard/garage Also, the water had a very bad odor to it. We come up to visit our sister every year during spring break and will not be back at this unit.

Stayed 4 nights! Didn't need any additional items at all during my stay. Everything was well stocked and provided. I love the smart house, it was so easy to talk to Alexa, host had a board written on what to ask Alexa if you've never used it before. House was super clean, beds were super comfortable. Thomas and Carol really invested in their home to welcome guests! Driveway pavement to enter the airbnb side of the house could use some fixing up but everything was superb. Hosts had clear instructions on checking in and checking out! I highly recommend the stay!

We enjoyed staying here. It was perfect for our family of 5. It was about 15 min from downtown Springfield but we didn’t mind that. Our kids were able to play outside and they had games inside. It was comfortable and as pictured. It is in a basement as stated but there wasn’t a lot of noise from upstairs. It didn’t bother us at all. My son left his personalized blanket and they got a hold of us quickly and we were able to pick it up.

Our large group had a fantastic stay. Plenty of comfortable, clean space with fun amenities. I loved having it specified at the door for shoes to be removed. It made everything feel all the more inviting. By the end we were wishing to stay longer. Definitely a host who would go the extra mile to provide for the guest, even to the extent of leaving packs of earplugs in the night stand for silent sleepers. We made use of board games provided, the premium subscriptions for audio and entertainment, the Alexa programmed lighting, and of course the luxurious toilet us common American's aren't used to. Oh and the air hockey table! Though we realized too late what hour it was, so for the upper tenant I'm sure a more quiet option is preferred. 😅 When it came to check-out, we had a situation with a trailer we brought where we needed an extra hour to pack out. Thomas was kindly able to extend the stay long enough for us to get rolling before cleaners arrived.

It was a bit of a learning curve with everything wired for a smart house (coming from someone who lives in a very dumb house 🤣) but once we got the hang of it - it was great. Great homey & spacious location! Only slight hiccup was the overhead noise - it was disclosed ahead of time that there could be foot traffic/noise since folks resided upstairs from the Airbnb. However, it was a bit distracting at night time when we were trying to sleep. Everything else was fantastic, though!

I had a great time here. Though a painting did fall during the middle of the night and scared the absolute jeepers out of me. Other than that everything else was a very good experience.
The stay was great, the set up was really nice. My kids enjoyed the air hockey table. & of course Alexa was pretty cool and convenient. I loved the location and the country feel but it is about 18-20 mins to bass pro or any malls or fun stuff just keep that in mind. Definitely worth the money and looks just like the pictures! Great place, you can tell they really made sure it was a comfortable and functional place to stay. lots of fun things around to view and look at. Alexa controlled lights and thermostat made the stay that much easier.
Thomas and Carol's walkout basement was perfect for us. I appreciated how clean and well-labeled the areas were for use. They did a great job turning the basement into a cozy home for the five of us. It was also excellently cooled in August. The main space is partitioned with an antique oriental screen. The screen did a great job of creating a private sleeping area from the kitchen and living room. There is a bedroom with two beds and an air hockey table. Our family had a great time playing air hockey with each other! The kitchen was well planned for use, too. We made breakfast and dinner while we were there. I highly recommend that families stay here while visiting the area!

We enjoyed this home and would stay here again. We liked the country feel of this location. The kids enjoyed the air hockey table. There was lots of room for all of us. They had a pack in play and an extra cot. Lots of technology with great information and instructions for use. Lots of notes on how to use the alexa commands. Loved all the charging USB's in every room and extra cables.

Perfect place for my little family’s short trip to Springfield. Matched description exactly, and very well worth the price! I appreciated the open layout so that I could keep tabs on my little people. Two nice, large smart TVs so we could wind down with a nice movie after a day of traveling or sightseeing. The beds and couches were clean and comfortable. The kitchenette had everything I needed (including coffee!!). In the front closet, there are board games for all ages. The upstairs tenant was completely silent, I only heard light footsteps occasionally. Thomas responded immediately to all of my messages! I will definitely be booking this AirBnB again! This place was perfect for our family of 6, including our twin 9 month olds. Open space, organized, and easy to find. The location was perfect for what we needed.
The check out process was super simple. Don’t have to feel like I had to be the one cleaning the place. Plenty of room. Super clean and lots of little extras like coffee, creamer, games, blankets… etc Will be back.

An amazing service for me and my girlfriend we had no place to stay so we quickly found an air bnb (this one listed) and it blew our mind on what we paid for it was beautiful and absolutely reliable 10/10 would recommend.
This was an excellent place for our family to stay as we were passing through the area overnight. Although it was in the basement we never had any issues with noise or privacy. It was an amazing value for the price and we would gladly stay there again!
Clean nice setup beds were very comfortable. It took us a little bit to find the twin bed. It was under the king size bed. Great for us a family of 8 just needing a place to stay one night cook breakfast and be out to go do our scheduled activities on our weekend get away!

Prompt and friendly communication with the owners and they quickly resolved an issue we had with the AC unit, making sure we were comfortable. We are so happy we stayed here. Conveniently located 13 min away from the airport. Located on a quiet backroad. The furniture was comfortable and the beds were the best we have ever slept in at an Airbnb. We did have a little roaring/stomping dinosaur upstairs on Sat morning but I was already awake, the others managed to sleep through it. Week mornings were fine. Will rent again the next time we come visit family in MO.
Absolutely worth the price, especially being able to accommodate up to 8 people. The place was very clean, felt right at home, great accommodations for guests, beautiful decorations, close to everything in town yet private. Didn't even feel the need to leave the room due to having plenty of entertainment. Incredible place.

This was a great little place that was outside of Springfield. Stayed here with all my bridesmaids and it was perfect for us for the one night. Clean and tidy, and a cute little place.
Very clean and comfortable. All the comforts of home, quiet, off the beaten path. Room for kids to play outside, they loved the full sized air hockey table. Only a short drive to the Wonders of Wildlife National Aquarium in Springfield, which our grandkids loved.
We really enjoyed our stay! The aesthetic touches were really fun and I enjoyed reading the little bits of educational content placed around. The air hockey table was a big hit. It’s amazing how little perks of a smart home can add a touch of luxury and fun.

We've stayed at 5 or 6 Airbnb locations, and this one by far, tops them all. Thomas was immediately responsive. The whole home was fresh and clean inside. Thomas did not use cheap economy brand furnishings or linens. I Wish I could do a better job describing the place. It's exactly like the pictures though. If you are debating between a couple of places in the Springfield area, stop the debate and make your reservation here right now!

We celwbrated two birthdays and an anniveraary this weekend. Stayed 2 night, all agreed we could have lived here longterm! Plan to revisit this accomodation. Communication was super easy, very straightforward and very kind. We initiall6 had a blip in our anticipated stay but these hosts were such a blessing to work with we booked an extra night and now there is word of mouth travelling across the counrry to Iowa, Washington state, and Arkansas about this great experience less thanb10 m inites from kost shopping areas but far enough out of town to really enjoy the relaxing beautybof the countryside. Privacy is great. Decor is amazingly beautiful, living quarters is cozy ,and invitinggly spacious. Very well thought out details like soaps, shMpoos, cookingboils, ice cubes, coffee, filtered water, heat, air and the message board of how tos and suggestions we highly reccomend others to enjoy the beauty, trNquiuty, and amazing exoerience of staying here with loved ones.
This is amazing little hideaway that is close to Springfield and Republic. It is also an easy drive to Branson. It is near the freeway, but has a quiet country atmosphere. The living room furniture and beds were amazingly comfortable. We loved the modern touches. It has everything you need to make meals and we loved the little extras every where in case you forgot something. The air hockey table was a lot fun. The bidet, heated seat, and lighted toilet were a favorite as well. You can hear normal footsteps at times from the tenants above, which did not bother us. If you are a light sleeper there are earplugs and Alexa can play white noise or rain sounds to help you sleep. I loved watching my favorite Netflix shows on the huge TVs. Only one suggestion… I would have loved an outdoor chair to drink my coffee in the morning. Overall this was an excellent value for the price, we really enjoyed ourselves.

What a pleasure it was staying here! The photos in the app don’t do the property justice. We were very pleasantly surprised by how spacious, clean and comfortable this walkout basement space is. I really want to stay here again and for a longer period of time. I truly cannot think of any upgrades, except for maybe a closet in the partitioned area with the king size bed and a washer and dryer… I’m thinking small and stackable, but that’s it and those are more of luxuries than necessities. It really is a wonderful place to stay and you get way more bang for your buck here than any other airbnb that I’ve stayed in. Thomas is attentive, responsive and very friendly. I couldn’t ask for a better host.

We had a great stay at Thomas's guest suite. It is peaceful and beautifully set in the countryside yet close to shopping if need be. The large space was great for us as we had 3 children that like to run. It was very clean and has very comfortable beds and a great TV! I would definitely stay here again when in the area!

The entire place is "smart equipped", which I really appreciate. Although there are two great tv's available, we spent the entire time playing air hockey. Our hosts have thought of everything! The place is spotless and welcoming, and had incredibly comfortable beds and everything you needed. We just needed an inexpensive place to spend the night, we didn’t go here for the destination, or to be close to activities or amenities. It was our place to stay on our way from a Silver Dollar City trip, so it was perfect for a place to stay on our way home to Tulsa. It is out in the country so it’s not within walking distance of activities and amenities, but it’s also right off the access to the highway so it would be easy to drive places. The memory foam beds were fantastic and everything that we needed was there. The price was especially amazing and we will likely stay again every time we go to Silver dollar city.
This property was beautifully decorated with Japanese and Chinese art pieces combined with a modern, smart house vibe. Our kids loved the air hockey table and the large beds. The space was big and there were cool gadgets.

Thomas’s place was exactly what we needed! It was the perfect rest stop on our way to our destination. The beds were comfortable, the place well maintained and very clean! The filtered water was an unexpected bonus (something we greatly appreciate).
Thomas' rental was exactly as described and extremely clean. I've never worked with someone as quickly and pleasantly responsive as Thomas and his partner. Ammenties are 10-15mins away in nearby Republic and about 20mins to downtown Springfield. Our kids really enjoyed the air hockey table and we all enjoyed cuddling up on the super comfy couches and watching a movie on the huge living room tv. There's a 2nd tv in the bedroom as well. Most importantly the home was CLEAN and SAFE. As a mom, i really appreciated the little container of coffee grounds available. Such a small thing made a big impact the morning after a busy day. The upstairs tennats can be heard during the night at time (just as described) and if you're not a heavy sleeper I'd suggest earplugs in addition to using the Alexa Echos to play sleep sounds.

Honestly I was extremely thankful to find this place on such short notice; my mother passed and I’m stationed overseas in Europe so I had 2 days to find accommodations for my brother and I. I felt right at home which was super helpful because I was stressed out. The pictures are nice do not do the place justice! Everything is on Alexa which is super convenient, they had a towel warmer (haven’t seen one of those outside of Europe), and a bidet (you won’t know how much you need one until you don’t have one anymore). The art/decor is beautiful and the beds even had memory foam toppers. I highly recommend this place and if I’m ever in the area again I will 100% stay here again.

This was our second stay at this place and just as memorable as the first time. The place is a little bit out of town and it was very peaceful and safe. The space was very clean, well stocked and just as described. We had a minor issue with the keypad not working initially, but after contacting Thomas, he immediately got us in and even came out to make sure everything was working. Extremely polite, helpful and responsive host. There is a renter upstairs so if you are looking for complete silence, you will hear them occasionally, but that is also mentioned in the description so no worries there. We felt like everything was exactly as described, very welcoming and warm environment. And the beds are extremely comfortable. This is our must stay place whenever we are in the area. 5 stars hands down!

This was a nice spot for a wedding in Willard. Not much nearby, but convenient access to the highway. This is a mom&pop apartment underneath a home, so there’s a completely private entrance and lots of space. You may hear the owners moving around above you during your stay: nothing wild but if you’re expecting complete isolation, this is more like a hotel/apartment when it comes to privacy. The smart devices were helpful for setting the AC. The layout is 2 beds in the bedroom with a connected bathroom, and the main living area has a bed separated by a privacy wall. The art was a nice touch and check-in was easy.
The stay was comfortable and warm, homey, unique, and had everything you needed. It was amazing experience, will use again!!!!

A great space for a great price--we had a reunion trip here and it was the perfect place for catching up and being together. The space was clean, the host was responsive, and it accommodated our large group nicely.
I booked this Airbnb spot for my in-laws. When they travel from mid-Missouri to visit us in Republic, they normally have to stay in one of the few affordable hotels in Springfield that does not allow pets, since mother-in-law has severe allergies. Thomas’ place was far larger and more comfortable than any hotel, and was only minutes from our house, so the in-laws didn’t have a 30-minute drive when going back to their room to sleep. They commented on the value, cleanliness, friendliness of the owner and said it would be their first choice for lodging in the future.
We loved our stay and would stay here again.

We enjoyed this peaceful home. It was a great alternative to noisy hotel rooms. Any noise from the upstairs unit was hardly noticeable and rare. The host was responsive and easy to reach. I would stay here again and would recommend it to my friends.

There are certain things I look for in Airbnb: comfortable beds (preferably king), a comfortable couch and big screen TV when we come in at night and relax, cleanliness, and finally a good deal. This place met all my family’s requirements! I’m always amazed at owners who cannot seem to understand a good big bed should be a requirement in an Airbnb and want you to watch TV on a small screen. TVs are cheap now. I don’t choose those places! I stayed for a month and did not have any problems! The owner was very responsive if I had a question! The place was great and the small kitchen was not a problem! I’ll choose this place again if I’m in the area! 5 stars!

Perfect place to stay for the night. There were 8 of us and plenty of room. The kids loved the foosball table and the smart features of the home were fun. I dont think that I would stay there for an extended period of time or if I was going to spend a ton of time in the rental because there is a neighbor upstairs and the kitchen is more like a kitchenette, but it was perfect for a night and would have been fine for 2 or 3 nights. We will definitely be coming back to stay.

My friend and I was in town for a conference at JQ Arena, the drive was about 20-25 minutes. The check-in process was very easy. We enjoyed the cleanliness, serene and peaceful atmosphere. The amenities we enjoyed most were the chargers to fit any phone on the nightstand, Netflix and the heated toilet seat. We didn't get a chance to play air hockey but that would have been fun! Great stay! I'd recommend it!👌🏾

We loved Thomas's place! My husband, myself, and two of our littles stayed for 4 days. The place is out of town but conveniently located near a highway. So, we had privacy but were not too far away. It was very clean and has sooo much space!! Anything we could have needed was already there. Truly a home away from home feel. The kids loved the air hockey table and the backyard and we all had a great time around the fire pit! We will definitely book with Thomas again!
Great space. Very clean. On the outskirts of town but very nice once you "land". Communication was prompt. Check in was a breeze! We tried and failed at using the bidet. Lol Also couldn't get volume on the television but didn't reach out for help- I'm certain the hosts would have helped. Beds were super comfy!! Listing states to consider an apartment style setting...definitely do so...there was a young child up very late and again in the middle of the night so it was a late night with broken sleep. Space was more than adequate and board games were a nice touch that we took advantage of!

Very clean and spacious. The air hockey was awesome, we've all played that when we were kids. A lot of sleeping place and one of the beds is very private on the far end of the living room. The road is pretty narrow to the place, so use some caution especially if arriving after dark. The family living upstrairs is almost silent, we did not hear anything that would have bothered us. It is a bit off the beaten path and the highway near the place is pretty noisy outdoors, but indoors you won't even know it's close by.

This place was perfect for our family and was very clean which is hard to truly find. As a mom of little ones, I appreciate the pack n play and the fact that there is space and not much for them to get into. We would stay again if we are in the area. Easy to find and access which was nice as well.

We loved our stay at Thomas’s Airbnb! It’s the perfect amount of local with countryside and of course they have all the upgrades! This is definitely the most high tech Airbnb we have ever stayed at so that made it lots of fun! The air hockey table is a really nice touch! The beds are solid but a nice memory foam so they were incredibly comfortable! The carpet is impeccably clean and communication was perfect. No complaints here!

I stayed at this air B and B with 3 children and 2 other women. When we arrived we were astounded at the cleanliness. This is one of the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed. It felt so comfortable and my kids really enjoyed their time. The air hockey table was fun for all of us. The two queen beds were very cozy. The king bed was extremely hard, like laying down on concrete. If you like firm beds it will be perfect for you. The bathroom is a decent size and the kids loved the toilet. It had an option to have a blue light on inside the toilet that they loved pressing, or the bidet button. The shower is extremely small but it suits its purpose. The only real issue we had while staying here was the constant walking from the upstairs tenant. We understood when we rented this space there were people above who we would hear walking around and that was fine with us. But the gentleman above us would be walking ALL NIGHT. From 2100 - 0700. It sounded like he was just pacing in the room above ours, or walking back and forth from one end of the house to the other. It really hindered our ability to sleep. When he would walk it sounded like he had work boots on, and the ceiling would creak loudly. We left a few days early and contacted the host about it. He was very kind and understanding, gave us a refund for the days we didn’t stay. He also went to the tenant’s residence to see what was going on and resolve the issue. All of the walking was the only thing that would deter us from staying here again. If you’re a heavy sleeper than it might not even phase you. Unfortunately we aren’t, so the sound of work boots hitting the floor, along with the creaking ceiling would wake us up all night.
This is a gem of a place! Alexia runs everything, heated toilet, air hockey, super soft beds, tv with loss of app options, close to stores/restaurants. We will definitely stay again when we come through.

Great host! If you have something you are doing in Springfield, MO, I suggest this place! I am coming down every 6 to 12 months for a tattoo appointment with my husband, usually we get a hotel, but this time we brought all the kiddos! This place was perfect, my 4 yo enjoyed the playground in the backyard!
The perfect spot for a bigger group! Just 20 minutes from downtown Springfield and taco bell ubereats was only $4 delivery 😏 We loved all the Alexa speakers and EVERYONE tried the bidet lol it was a great party trick.

Nice touches throughout the home with automation and controls at your voice command or finger tips.
